Dr. Anurag P. Mahagaonkar is a highly trained Consultant Paediatrician and Neonatologist with extensive experience in managing complex newborn and paediatric cases. He has advanced expertise in Level III NICU and PICU care, including the management of extreme preterm infants, neonatal respiratory distress, sepsis, and critical paediatric emergencies.
He has completed his MBBS from SDM College of Medical Sciences, Dharwad, followed by an MD in Paediatrics from Navodaya Medical College, Raichur. To further strengthen his clinical skills, he pursued an NNF Fellowship in Neonatology from Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Bengaluru, where he gained hands-on experience in advanced neonatal care.
Dr. Anurag is skilled in advanced neonatal resuscitation, mechanical ventilation including HFOV, therapeutic hypothermia, neonatal transport, and nutrition planning. He is well-known for his calm clinical judgment, strong team leadership, and compassionate communication with families during critical situations.
